NRL COMES TO BALLYMORE
Game to Support Men's Health
Tickets are selling fast for the history making pre-season clash between the Brisbane Broncos and the Canberra Raiders at the spiritual home of Queensland rugby union, Ballymore Stadium.
Hosted by current Queensland Cup Club Champions, the Souths Logan Magpies, the night will showcase a double header of rugby league matches from 6pm.
This will be Brisbane's only chance to see two full-scale NRL squads compete ahead of the 2010 National Rugby League season, with the night marking the first occasion that rugby league has been played at the ground since 1966.
This historic clash will also provide the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) with valuable support, as the Souths Logan Magpies will be donating a percentage of gate receipts to the charity.

Queensland and Northern Territory State Manager for the PCFA, Mr Graeme Higgs,
"PCFA is honoured and humbled to be the charity of choice for this historic occasion, and would like to thank the Souths Logan Magpies for their generosity and this wonderful opportunity," said Mr Higgs.
"The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia believes that this partnership will aid us in convincing men of all ages to have regular conversations with their doctor's about their health."
Ballymore has been the home of Queensland rugby since the QRU took over the ground in 1966, with historical records indicating that only QRL sanctioned amateur rugby league tournaments played there previously.
In recent years however, Ballymore Stadium has turned into a multi-purpose sports venue, with the Brisbane Roar and various visiting sporting teams training on the internationally acclaimed venue.
